Modular Brushwood Gates Heavy Duty Gate Hinges
Ausbrush has just released -23rd January 2008-, a new modular brushwood gate, the subject of current Australian Registered Design application.
The gates are made in two standard sizes;
1) a 1730mm high x 900mm wide gate for use with the ausbrush pre-framed panel system
2) an 1800mm high x 900mm wide for general use with traditional brush fencing and conventional framing systems and for export markets.
The modular construction using powdercoated, galvanised steel channel sections together with long lasting Australian Melaleuca uncinata hardwood panels, provides a very rigid, strong yet lightweight gate which is both attractive and economical in cost. The gates are of universal installation design, shipping with universal hinges (fit left or right hand installs), latches, strikers, handles and fixing screws.
ausbrush can supply other sizes of modular gate to order, but cost more and do not offer the same economies of construction as the standard modular gate, which is made in special jigs from bulk standard size raw materials orders. The standard gate ships in ironbark colour which blends closely to the natural colour of Australian brushwood. Other colours can be supplied to order.

Traditional Brush Gates

Traditional brush gates are made from hand thatched brush over a steel pipe frame and with brush frame rolls. They are very heavy and time consuming/expensive to make and fit.
For situations demanding an alternative brushwood gate size, framing or finishing method, we would be happy to work through your design with you and endeavour to supply your requirements.
